Sardegna Legend Rally.  Best Loved by... Amateurs

 

The first edition kicked off in 2006. 600 kilometres of off-road rallying, on routes that change every year, designed to enable everyone taking part to explore different cultural areas and landscapes of Sardinia. The route is unmarked and competitors have to find their way by using the road book, just as in traditional rallies. the only great school that prepares bikers to take part in “real” rallies. The route and road books

have been devised by the organisers of Sardegna Rally Race.

The “Legend” has just the same DNA as the World Championship, but it’s not so gruelling. Planned over 3 stages, Sardegna Legend Rally is Bike Village’s crossover event. Non-competitive, it is unique in its kind and has to be experienced intensely, getting ever more exciting by the year. The atmosphere is clearly more relaxed than in Sardegna Rally Race. The bivouacs are replaced by the now famous eateries, and the prize-giving ceremony is a grand finale party with a barbecue, perhaps on the beach. The organisation is complex. The number of entries is limited to 120-150, depending on the trails.

Each year we have at least one guest of honour, a legend like Cyril Neveu, Cyril Depres, or Thierry Charbonnier.
